Microsoft Force feedback 2 Setting

Hi,

Hope you guys are fine.

I just bought BOS  and I´m trying to set the Microsoft FF 2 Joystick. I use it on IL2 1946 but on BOS i´m having some difficulties.

 

Any guide or help to set it?

What problem are you encountering specifically? My MSFFB2 works fine with BOS, just plug and play, nothing else needed. I have seen some people say to plug into actual computer usb port and not into a usb hub, as that can cause issues.

Although I do not have a FFB joystick, I know there are a lot of guys out there using FFB joysticks. So, first thing to do and check is,

did you activate the FFB options in your game? You should find this option in your game's settings under control devices.

Here you will see a checkbox to enable Force Feedback and you can tune it with the two sliders.

The MSFFB Sidewinder works best with BoX if you use a powered USB hub.  I had many problems till I plugged it into the USB hub and now it works perfect.

The joystick works fine. Only some problems with the FFB.

 

my questions is more regarding any recomended mapping as the Stick has only 8 buttons and the setup is harder than IL2 1946.tks!!
