Sokol1 Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Just to "teaser". From il-2 Russian forum: The plans and costs with joystick handle KG style WWII, designed for mainstream users. This is a one-component mass joystick with twist axis and at least three axes for engine management. Wish that he had been in retail within 100 bucks, even lower if possible. Electronics is our full, or (in the case of resistors) that we recommend the brand owner. Among VKB plans, a affordable (and probable "all plastic" ) joystick oriented for WWII planes (F-XX jets... blerrrg!). Design based on German KG grips, but with "simmers" options. Mockup in November... Is "low end" but the good is that VKB electronics is probable the most advanced used in joystick today. Sokol1 1
JG27_Chivas Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 If it also had very smooth return to center gimble and spring setup, with a smooth breakout, I'd definitely consider the stick.
OBT-Psycho Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I had a dream once that VKB would make it with FFB motors... it would be appropriate for a WWII oriented joystick... but I will definitely keep an eye on this one
