Invalid Battle of Normandy key on Steam

Has anyone else seen this?  I bought BoN on the website.  Went to Steam to add it to my IL2 Stalingrad game and Steam says the key is invalid.  My IL2 and Steam accounts are connected.  Does this happen with early access?  All my other IL2 purchases have been added to Steam without issue.

You don't add keys from the website to steam in that manner. If you've connected the accounts, the BoN content will work automatically without "inputting" any keys.  BoN isn't out yet though so you'll only see the Razorback P-47 right now.

Thanks.  Am I correct that once the game is out there, I'll see an install in my DLC for IL2 Stalingrad?

You will have every new plane as fast as they come and steam update

You won't see it listed in DLC for steam, no.  Once you're in the game and logged in at the main menu, look in the top right corner and it'll have the names of the modules you own under the IL-2 title.

To expound on what LuseKofte said, the module (it's not really a DLC as it can be standalone) is in early access and new installments come with most updates the Great Battles series continually receives. As new features and content are created they are added until the module is "finished"* and ready to be officially released. 

 

*I say finished in quotation marks because the series is constantly being worked on and updated so it's never really "finished" per se, just being constantly improved.

Is it the only title you have in the series?

 

Im not sure you will see it in steam if you do not have IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad first.

I have most of the titles.  This (Normandy) was the first I bought in early access.

I have Battle Of Normandy listed in my list top right corner along with Kuban etc and all other addons. However when will the Battle of Normandy module be actually useable? This is now Nov 19 2020 also does anyone have a setting profile I can utilize for my X52 Logitech stick and how would I install it if I were to get one from you. Finally, I notice that it seems every aircraft can climb at will and I don't even have a hope of catching them and all they do is force me it a constant turn battle that I cant seem to ever get out of...suggestions? Thank you in advance Tim
