Laurwin Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I was thinking of getting a better fitting headset preferably wireless bluetooth (would be more comfortable less wires, only the trackir wire) be track clip pro compatible so not ridiculous thickness of the headset frame around the top of the earpiece mic not excessively heavy (previous headsetlogitech g430 was a bit heavy/badly fitting). I think the exessive heavyness contributes such that when you use trackir the old logitech g430 starts to slide back towards my back instead of staying in place on the top of the head. I used to have steelseries headset long time ago which was otherwise excellent but it was wired headset and I think I lost it / broke it at some point. I think the durability was the only bad thing about the steelseries. The light weight of the steelseries headset was excellent in il2 gaming sessions and it was also good fit with track clip, as I recall. I was thinking of some hyperx headsets but havent decided on anything yet.
69th_Panp Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 (edited) Really doesn't matter these days with the invention of sticky sided velcro. I haven't found a head set I could not mount my track clip too using the clip or velcro So get what you like ? Edited November 5, 2020 by 69th_Panp
WWDarkdiz Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 I use BOSE Quiet Comfort 35, Track clip pro fits quite nicely, active noise cancellation is REALLY nice, and they are very comfortable, can wear them all day. I don't use the built-in mic, I prefer the dedicated mic (wired or wireless, I currently used wired). Works like a charm
