Bomb site instruments and graphics are too small

I'm using a rift CV 1 and I know I was able to see all the instruments and lettering just fine in the past.

Now, when I go into the bomb site view, the instruments and text lettering are all too small for me to read and use.

Is there a setting I need to tweak?

The Rift CV1 is a generation 1 headset which is very old, unfortunately. I had it as well and enjoyed it a lot, but eventually technology progressed.

To be honest, upgrading to a newer headset with higher resolution solved it for me.

If you look for an upgrade, I'd recommend HP's Reverb G2.

If you want to stay in Facebook's eco-system, the Quest 2 should be good as well. You can stream your content from the PC to it via Oculus Link cable or wireless via Virtual Desktop.

Can not check now, but I think bomb sight in VR can be bigger, same as techno chat / map view:

in game config change 2 values, this is my values:

    or_hud_rad = 1.15000
    or_hud_size = 1.35000

try and see if it´s better.

That refers to the size of the HUD square and its bent. It doesn't increase the size of the icons (elements of the HUD), but spreads the elements further apart.

It may help, or may not. You can give that a try.

Thing is, I've used the bomb sights before in my Rift cv1, and all was readable and usable. Now its as I've described above. Also been waiting for the G2 since I ordered it August 15th.

Maybe you have dynamic resolution enabled. Do you use SteamVR or opencomposite?
