flunc123 Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 As the title says when i load in the planes i appear outside the plane i've tried to recenter it with b oculus reset view and the ingame key (numpad 5 + f10 key) but to no succes can't really find a clear soulution to this problem. i've looked on the forum but still didn't find any clear fix to this maybe it's because i'm blind i'm not sure but i would appreciate if anyone told me how to fix this issue
JMan1512 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 In settings/key mapping/pilot head control set the Default VR view to your desired key/button, that's what i use to set my VR view.

Turn off VR and turn off TrackIR, exit game and then re-enter game. You will now be able to adjust/move your pilot head position using basic selections from key mapping i.e. HOME, DELETE etc etc Once you get pilot head where you want it, then select F10 to use that position as default. Go back to game and set up VR etc. WORKS
Guest deleted@258843 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 There are two keybinds you need. One is "reset default vr view", which will recenter your head at a specified spot in the cockpit. There is another bind called something along the lines of "save current corrections in head snap position" under pilot view. Bind a key to that. Any type you fly where your default position is off (out of the cockpit for instance) just move your head in real life until you find a spot you want to make the new default, then press the latter key bind. From that point on the position for that particular type will be saved, and you can use the "reset default vr view" bind to snap you to it whenever you get yourself in a comfortable position in your chair.
