fergal69 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Typical, just on verge of Hurricane being released & my computer had died. Whilst old PC ran ok on medium settings, been searching forums for the recommended PC specs & haven't found anything. Anyone point me in right direction please as going to order a new PC & would like to ensure I get a PC that will allow higher graphic settings. Thanks
Denum Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) That's kinda budget oriented IMO 5700XT cards are good bang for your buck (new cards will be out.aoon but assuming you aren't going to wait 4 months to get one) i510600k or 3700XT chips are good bang for buck You'll wanna get atleast 16gb of ram SSDs are worth the extra expense. 550 motherboard atleast, so if you need to upgrade later you can I'm running 3800XT XFX 5700XT THICC III 16gb ram 1TB SSD I get 100 frames (140 on some maps) at 1440p with everything maxed Edited October 30, 2020 by DenumPenguin

kendo Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 If you can wait for a few weeks, the new Ryzen 5000 processors are coming out, and from initial reports are a big step up. ~Check out Ryzen 5600X. Due to be released November 5th, though initial supplies may be tight.
fergal69 Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 Thanks for advice. Obviously as time goes by then RAM will be expanded & I've been looking into SSD.
