Question on oscillation of power p-47

I started flying Hell hawks over the bulge and my throttle oscillates all over the place. It can go from 0% to 100% My thrustmaster 1600m works with all the other aircraft.  Did I map something wrong. I'm lost. Any suggestions. I would appreciate it. Thank you for your reply .

The p47 is the only aircraft in the game with the manual turbo, which can have a big impact on manifold pressure. Maybe it has something to do with that? Can you post a screenshot of your  keybindings for engine controls.

Probable you have some "Engine Aids (automation for lazy people) turned ON, can turn OFF in Custom mode.

Thank you, i'll try that...   In custom mode I have unticked The 3 boxes

I would need to see the turbocharger keybinding. Just to see if it is double bound with anything else.

I checked on double binding and it is not that ???   I'm beginning to think it could very well be my Thrustmaster  t1600m fcs rig. If I buy a new joystick , could I get a twist rudder. I really don't know what's out there . I don't have room for rudders.   Really appreciate all your help. thanks , Mark

It looks like you don’t have the turbocharger bound to anything at all. That could be something to check, you need the turbo to maintain the manifold pressure for the plane. That said, if the throttle setting is jumping around and it’s not double bound then it probably isn’t the turbo. Test extensively in the quick mission builder with a bunch of different aircraft to see if the problem occurs anywhere else. Could be a weirder issue than just the stick or key bindings.
