Is there a guide to what the different scales are? I have noticed that sometimes they swap sides.

I hope that an official manual is available for Tank Crew when it goes full release as there is a lot of stuff that isnt obvious

When you are in the tank, press "ESC" and then click on "station notes" and that should be it.

I have had a look at the Station Notes, and I still think a picture of the gunsight showing which ranges apply to which ammunition would be the best way to show what is what. The views shown are very good but the whole thing is so well hidden as to be practically useless for new players. I do wish that 777 would do an interactive training web page as I feel that a lot of potential players would be put off by the lack of explanation of how to set up and shoot, which lets face it is the whole point of the sim

That's what I would think, but it seems there's a sizable community of tank commanders that want to simply give the order to shoot at will.
