Saitek X52 Joystick not recognized / not working

My Saitek X52 is connected, works elsewhere (like in MSFS and FSX), but is not recognized in my brand new copy of IL-2 Stalingrad. What´s up? Any ideas before I cancel my Steam purchase?

The joystick buttons, axes is not automatically assigned for commands.

 

You need do this assignment manually, in Settings > Key Bindings
