look for he111h16.json in the aircraft directory.

Please note 2 things:

1. If you change data PWCG is effectively unsupported.

2. Every new update will overwrite your changes.

Ok but does it mean I will fuck something up if I change it like pwcg will suddenly crash because it interferes with something and second do i have to change the squadron files to so they get the h16 at the date i want ?

And if you don't mind me asking some more questions I have because i am so impressed by your campaign engine and although i like career mode a lot using your addon is something really nice to change things a bit from the in game career. The first is how the replacement mechanic works. Is there a replacement every day or every week and can your side or the enemy run out of planes or at least a squadron will be short of planes ? And if this is true does bombing airfields which an active enemy squadron uses as base deplete their inventory of airplanes. The last one is what kind of influence ground attacks against infantry units and against building targets have in the campaign ?. I know this isn't a dynamic engine so to speak but I would like to know apart from my own imagination and roleplaying if it has any meaning at all.

I would also again thank you pat for this wonderful tool you have created :)

PWCG might crash or at least spew errors.  JSON is for computers more than humans.  It defines Java objects and the definition has to match the Java object in PWCG.  Mess up a date, a comma, use a bracket instead of a curly brace, etc. and the file becomes unreadable by PWCG.  I generate these files from software and not by hand.

The edit that you want is pretty simple.  Just be very careful and back up the data file in case you make a mistake.  All you have to do is change the introduction date of the He11 H16 then start a new campaign.  PWCG should pickup on the new introduction date and use it to supply squadrons.  Replacements are weekly and there is a simulated paperwork lag. Only losses incurred over a week ago are eligible for replacement.

Impact on air units is modeled.  I have not modeled all of the ground units.  They are just generated for the mission.  Planes have to be shot down to count as losses.  I do not account for planes on the field.

Thank you so just to be clear if i change the introduction date in the planes file do i have to change when the squadrin gets it as well ?. And regarding the replacement again is there a limited amount of newer versions of the planes for squadrins thar using the older and newer model of lets say the yak fighter ?

No.  The squadron is assigned an arch type (He111) not a specific type.  PWCG calculates which specific type to supply based on introduction date.  You should start a new campaign after making the change, otherwise you won't see the newer type for awhile.
