Water rad on P38: I don't get it

Hi!

 

When my water rad is on auto mode: 

- if I use the water rad command (axis), I can see a flap moving under the engines, but nothing happen on the technochat, temp or speed. 

 

When my water rad is on manual mode: 

- the rad open to 100% without any action from me

- I loose a lot of speed

- But I didn't saw any flaps moving on the aircraft 

- And when I set back to auto mode, I'm not taking back my speed (actually, I gain no speed at all)

 

 

Someone help me to understand?   I guess may be an old bug (already noticed that a long time ago)

What you see under engine opening is oil rad, you can adjust it in manual mod 0-100% on any position (thats why probably works on axis).

Water rad flaps are on boom and there is 4 of them on each at sides, and in manual mod they can only be either 0% or 100%, its emergancy to go in manual mod i guess so thats why you cant fully adjust them and they go 100% open when press manual key, similar like on Spit9 they go 100% in manual, its ment to be used only when auto is broken. So maybe they dont close when you use axis as you dont go on 0 for them to close, i use keys and all works ok.
