6./ZG26_Gielow Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Well it seems that we need some corrections here. First one, when will be convergence setting available ??? 200m is too much to hit enemy tanks. Maybe 100 or 50m would be better. Second one, it seems the KV1 is invulnerable to our 3.7 cannons. If I can recall right, We should be able to penetrate even IS2 and IS3 rear armor with those cannons and their tungsten rounds.
CreepiJim Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 With 200m I had no difficulties to hit tanks. Did not encounter KV-1 so far to comment on penetration. Convergence will be added with all planes, I assume, as they did with trim. I would prefer 100m for maximum kinetic energy on imapct, too.
Matt Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 If you hit the KV-1 from behind and attack in a shallow dive, they blow up after 2 hits most of the time. I had no success with attacks from above yet. The IS-2 and 3 did not have a thicker rear armor than the KV-1 btw.
