[BUG ?] Fire and finishing flight

Hi,

Yesterday on Combat Box server someone set my aircraft on fire. Close to the ground and slow, I immediatly crash landed to save the pilot (too low to bail). Once the aircraft was stoped (and still burning), I hited Escape to finish the flight (just like you do when you crash land, land, or bail), but impossible: the button was grey. At that moment, my pilot was not heavily wounded yet (red but clear vision).

Is there a reason for this, or just a bug?

I understand it's sometimes impossible to bail while burning due to a wounded pilot (and the difficulty to bail out), but once on the ground, I don't get why he would just stay in the aircraft, patiently waiting to being burned alive.

I have had this happen sometimes while ditching. Not when I was on fire, just ditched on the ground. I think it is a bug, like the game still thinks the plane is moving so it is not ‘down’ yet. After a bit the option was available and I could exit.

When you have server owerload you get that problem, for example on wol where you have gps you can see that your position dont match and you have to wait for your gps icon to land for server to give you option to refly. Server have your info delayed when to mutch stuff is going on.

If server dosent have GPS, next time this happend you can ask guys on ts3 to tell you what time they see on airplanes clock, and youll see your one will be delayed to them. When this was big problem last year before taking off i would always check if my and wingmans clock show same time, as wingman had better net conection usealy i was one with this type of delay, that would get larger as sortie go on. But they did fix this and i didnt expirianced this problems as mutch, only one heavy mission on WoL on Prokhorovka map was problematic and i would always just avoid it.

Did you land using flaps? If so did you set the flaps command to neutral before hitting esc? Or did you have some other command active? those things blocks the esc command! (If it isn´t the beforementioned issues with server overload and timing mismatch)
