Good day friends,

I would like to make the suggestion to add the 2x 500 kg bombs option for the He 111 H6. Currently it can only carry 1x 500 kg bomb as external load. Theoretically, the H6 already has the required bomb holders and its successor (the H16) already has exactly this option of two external 500 kg bombs. It would certainly help in engaging sea targets with this type, since torpedoes are not an option at the moment. Perhaps it is worth considering.

Have a nice day!

Optional removal of the additional internal tank would be good also.

Never a loadout option on the H-6.

That's neither a primary source, nor does it say anything about the H-6 carrying 6x SC 250s.

Then check out the battle of britain propaganda videos, when He 111 dropping 8x250 kg bomb.

Even wikipedia says it:
The He 111 H-1 was fitted with a standard set of three 7.92 mm (.312 in) MG 15 machine guns and eight SC 250 250 kg (550 lb) or 32 SC 50 50 kg (110 lb) bombs. The same armament was used in the H-2 which started production in August 1939

Janowicz, Krzysztof (2004), Heinkel He 111: Volume 1, Lublin, Poland: Kagero, ISBN 978-83-89088-26-0

I don't understand why its impossible for u, its just 4 more bomb holder in the plane. Check out the book, there are good pictures about the bomb holders in the factory. That was a very simple thing.

The H-1 and H-2 models of the He-111 had a number of differences to the H-6. Those models couldn’t carry 20mm cannons, torpedoes, or bombs larger than SC250s, for example.

It would be best to look for primary sources or peer-reviewed academic sources about the H-6 specifically to figure out wether or not it could carry 8xSC250s.

The H6 was the long range version of the He 111. Therefore it had an additional fuel tank in one bomb bay. It simply was not thought to carry more bomb load. As much as I understand your wish to get the additional second four 250s, until you can show an original source, that the additional fuel tank was removed and four more bomb racks added, you might have to accept the H6 the way it is now.
