ME crash DirectX due mods? Any ideas?

 

ME 4.501 hangs, mousing works, no access to it's functions, Alt F4 does nothing too, ME exit via Taskmanager.

But i never saw this, guess it's time for a clean install, without mods ...

Took out all the mods via JSGME, no ME crash or hanging anymore, maybe all's OK for now.

No mods situation:

Jack - the editor is unstable. The end ;)

 

Certain combinations of hardware, OS, drivers, memoery etc exacerbate or help it to some extent...but it’s just unstable.

 

I’ve posted dozens of crash dump files to the devs over the.years, so no need to post more FYI.

 

I appreciate your efforts to sus this out just the same.

You have to learn what NOT to do while you learn what TO do.

 

Mods is one of the things not to do if you want to build missions that everyone can play.

 

You know some of the others....

try to open a new mission with the mission tree open

save a mission with an object selected

Left click while dragging an object...
