1 stutter each minute?

Hi all,

 

I'm loving the game but I have a problem with it that I've had for as long as I can remember, well before the latest Desert Wings add-on in that approximately every minute I get 1 stutter or freeze for about 1 second then the game continues as normal for another minute, then another 1 second freeze and so on.

 

I've tried messing with the graphics settings, I've tried turning off all back ground programs not required for the game, I've tried messing with NIVIDIA control panel, I delete the cache folder before every session and still I get the 1 second/minute stutter. I've learned to live with it but its quite annoying, especially when lining up for the big money shot!!

 

It happens during online and offline play.

 

Any ideas are greatly welcomed.

Don't mess to much in your NCP - just make sure to:

 

1. Create a program profile (Program settings tab)

2. Only modify the Power Management Mode and set it to Prefer Maximum Performance, like this:

 

 

Hope this will help getting rid of your stuttering experience.

P.S.: I know - this picture shows my actual IL2 GB program profile, but I have the same settings for CLOD - Blitz/Tobruk

funnily enough I tried you suggestion already only altering tese items and fixing the frame rates. Neither worked but thanks again.

Kind of a blanket solution, but try to set your Launcher64.exe to Windows 7 compatibility mode. It is an easy enough thing to do and if it works, hurray. And if it doesn‘t, you haven’t invested too much time trying to solve it with that.

 

I‘d suggest you post this on the ATAG Forums too if the above doesn’t help snd you don’t get any more answers. Maybe there are a couple of people there who don‘t visit here and can help you with that.
