How to Add Single Player Missions and Campaigns?

If one wants to add a single player mission or campaign, how is this done?  Are they added into Documents/missions or Documents mission? Another possible choice is adding them in to missions in steamapps? I do play Great Battles also and am generally successful in adding scripted campaigns and missions there.

This is not definitive esp if using win10. I put mine for win7, mydocs\1C SoftClub\il2 cliffs of dover\missions\single. If you write any via the QMB thats where you can access them and place them. You then run them from the single player - single menu.

You can also put them into the mission\quick folder as well however you cannot then access them via QMB. Run them from the single player - quick menus.

If memory serves me correctly, the campaigns are meant to be run from the mission\campaign folder.

I believe the steamapps folder is a repository, and may well get overwritten with updates, but could be wrong on this count - I have never used it, and my reason why is lost in the mists of time
