Is there a Radar Equipped Beaufighter in Desert Wings?

 

Sorry for the kinda repost, but I think my first post was to wordy and no one responded.

I'm not sure but I think that the radar, as a working feature, is not yet modelled in IL2CoD. Maybe in the future the radar device will be implemented in the simulation.

 

The fact is I know nothing about Beaufighters, it's a plane I'm still not trying. I know only that possessors of the BLITZ edition have those flyable Beaus:

 

- Beaufighter Mk IF
- Beaufighter Mk I-NF

 

Possessors of "BLITZ" + "Desert Wings - Tobruk" can flying the following Beaus:

 

- Beaufighter Mk IC
- Beaufighter Mk IF
- Beaufighter Mk IF Late
- Beaufighter Mk I-NF
- Beaufighter Mk I-NF Late

 

I hope some expert on Beaus will appear in this thread, somebody bringing you some more nutritious responses...

Paraphrasing his answer, CloD has no functioning radar but you get radar call outs (from ground operator). Very difficult to play and the nights are also very dark.

 

1946 has this with mods, I‘ve seen the video he posted there too. Nice stuff with onboard radar and operator telling where to go. But it‘s modded 1946. At night you won‘t see a thing so not that important graphics wise.

 

 

Mods can merge the threads I guess.
