vonGraf Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 I found CloD in a 'for sale' bucket in an electronic shop here. 5 Euros on DVD, must been in 2012 or so. After playing the first IL-2 for years I was quite impressed, especially from the new cockpits' graphic quality.

If you play "Cliffw of Dover" campaign last mission will see that the girl of the tale who Lutier discover in an "Russian sicrit dokument" is refereed in briefing: "We landed. I stopped short, slamming Florence into the gunsight. She oofed." ? Edited October 20, 2020 by Sokol1 1

Bluespin4 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Playing COD and all good until Heartbreaker when it appears to be the middle of the night! I can see cockpit gauges and a faint girl but too dark to fly. Any ideas how to fix?

A mission you created yourself with the mission builder or any other mission provided by the community?
Bluespin4 Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 It was is in the standard COD English campaign. I suspect it is the last mission. I exited and noticed the time was 8:45, so evening, and I suspect that might be the cause, but I cannot see a way to set the time in the sim. My PC is on Sydney time, but that has not been a problem in any other mission or sim. I have moved on to the german campaign now and not sure if I can get back to try again. Heartbreaker is fine in free flight now. Thank you for responding I am really enjoying COD, I had the very early buggy version years ago and had to give up. It is a real pleasure to be able to come back and have it working. Team Fusion has done a great job. BTW having flown the Tiger Moth she is a more sedate lady than in the sim I found, but great to fly her again anyway! 2

Missions times has no relation with computer time, is just defined by mission maker, you can change this in the .mis file. [MAIN] MAP Land$English_Channel_1940 DespawnAfterLandingTimeout 600 BattleArea 180000 60000 170000 250000 10000 TIME 10.2500002481975 Is the TIME line, minutes are in percentage, so the 10.25... is 10:15 AM, if want 10:30 AM change for 10.50, the 00002481975 don't make difference. I've read something similar about the Stuka crews when they had to leave the airfields near Stalingrad in a hurry. They rescued their mechanics and some girls from a front-theater, stuffing three additional persons in the cockpit. The girls barfed when the pilot had to escape the Russian AA fire. ?
343KKT_Kintaro Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Five people on board a Stuka? Is this possible?
Sokol1 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) War tales tell that Bf 109 pilots of air bases in threat of being overrun by Russians, rescue two of their mechanic carry then lying down inside the rear fuselage. See in page 68-69 about Hartmann. https://issuu.com/joete6/docs/monographic_magazine._messerschmitt I've seem drawing of this, but as "times goes by", the web is losing content related to the Second World War.
