pabletesoy Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Hello, I'm using Joystick Gremlin and trying to map directX buttons to IL2, but they don't show me in the controls menu. Is this possible to do? Thanks!
jollyjack Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 (edited) If you have the steam version, this might the cause, some general controller setting .... I'll look it up if so. One of MANY reasons i DON'T like steam .. ADDED: just found it, was hampering my Cliffs installation, not Il2 as i don't use the steam version. jollyjack Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 then it might be your Joysticks ID number has changed (window update again?), use JoyID to change it back, and eventually delete all old & dead USB drivers first too with USBdeview.
Sokol1 Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Joystick Gremlin can create a new virtual controller combining all you physical controllers ('stick, throttle, button box...) and can hidden their DX buttons, for avoid avoid duplication when assign controls in games, sending for games only the key press programmed, in similar way done by TARGET.
