New pc for IL-2GB

Hi folks, a friend of mine, interested to get IL-2GB, asked my how he can upgrade his pc and if it is possible, to have a smooth gaming. He would be interested in putting a more powerful GC and asks what would be a good GC that would suit his pc.

These his pc features:

 

MB: ASUSTek CG8565

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K CPU@3.40GHz socket 1155LGA

Memory: DDR3 RAM 16 GB

SSD 500GB

OS: win 10 64bit

GC: Nvidia GTX760 - Memory GDDR5 2GB

Honestly I would do the whole package, you could put a nice GPU in that setup but the CPU will then be a bottleneck and IL-2 needs processing power, I noticed a substantial improvement going from an i5-4690K to an i7-8700K (GPU was/is a GTX-1080Ti).

 

A more "suitable" GPU for his PC is kinda irrelevant, he needs a PC that is suitable for IL-2.
