Maillon21 Posted October 9, 2020 Author Posted October 9, 2020 Poll: I prefer making skins with a "normally used" appearance, but it seems some players prefer skins "full weathering". It is easyly possible to make the two ones. Which one do you prefer? How many users would be interested for future (and old) skins ? Normally used Full Weathering https://mega.nz/file/2TIRnAYZ#85EBRqUHpK6TTXJ3yDwrGE1krdTKRGK5N008aI5T43E 3 1 1

I am not sure what the problem is but gloss or the lack of it is controlled by the alpha layer. Darken an area to make it more Matt and lighten it to make it shine. There are lots of posts in the forum that give instruction on this. You basically paint in reflectivity using the grey scale. Just do not darken less than 6 or you will get holes. Above 60 and things get varnished. Pure white oddly gives pure total matt. You can use brightness and contrast controls to change the layer as well as grey paint and use the levels setting to stop things getting out of control at the extremes. This lets you set wet or dry mud. Add liquid spills and show metal shining in the light. Edited October 11, 2020 by SR603-Flowbee 1
