"failed to update" after longer hiatus

hi,

i try to (re-)launch il2-bos/bom (first time since may), but no success:

 

• the launcher downloads 23,3 GB of data with no problem
• unpacks the data
• but fails when updating the game
• non-steam version
• last successful update in april 2020

 

• deleting the "updates"-folder did not help

 

i am lost

 

is there a log-file to look for the exact reason of the failure ?

do i need to adress another forum ?

any help will be appreciated

Did you use Launcher.exe or Il-2 exe to update?

 

I always use the Launcher.exe for updates and have never had any problems.

i did not have any problems with previous updates ...
