Hello

Could you, on all maps, write the rivers' s names : IL2 is history and geography ?

Could you also change pilots 's pictures by photos of real WW2 pilots ?

As for orientation on the pilot map you could use icons, set them in the ME.

But in the ME i think river names could be a help, as i am only familiar with most Rheinland river names and places.

Or we should go back to school and learn some Russian Geography ... we owe that to Oleg Maddox who started this mad game, and he's a Russian.

River names might actually be helpful, I can't possibly count the amount of time me and my wingmen have spent trying to explain the shape of a particular river among hundreds in the combat area. Question is how/where to display it for very long rivers. If it's only written in one location on the map it'll be out of view 99% of the time and making the name scale and reorient based on zoom level is entirely new UI tech that I'm pretty sure the devs neither have time, manpower nor liking for.

I wonder if you can manually add text to the general pilot map, and where the files for those are located.

PS you can via Icons on a mission map ... just did that.
