-SF-Disarray Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Yesterday I was playing a bit with the FW190-D9 and have found a curious thing and managed to get it on a stream I happened to be doing at the time. I've cut it down to the relevant portions but it is all in one flight. The video picks up at the start of the bounce that put this all into motion. I get shot at twice after this bounce and one of these bursts from a Spitfire's .50's severs the control cables in my right wing. I carry on fighting in spite of this damage, seemingly as effective as I ever was, scoring 3 kills despite my subpar gunnery. I do not discover the damage until I'm landed. There was no techno chat pop up for the damage either and that too seems odd. Some of the language gets a little spicy, just so you know. I tried cutting around it where possible. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/754676154 (For whatever reason the video won't embed from Twitch so you get a very classy looking link instead) As you can clearly see at the end of the clip the right hand aileron is hanging loose. It can also be noticed a few times in the fighting that it isn't responding to control input. I missed this myself until going back to edit the footage together. So, what is up with the FM/DM on the 190-D9? 4
