Sorry for last Wednesday, I encountered a problem in the last minute. Will be present next time.

Posted

The ping problem forced lots of players to stop prematurely in the last mission.

Has the problem been identified ?

Will the last mission be replayed ?

OBTs really would like to replay it

Then, there's one chance for me to play that mission. Please play it again Sam!

A server's modem problem.

Fixed now.

So I would say that probably the mission will be played again

Hey, that's an interesting photograph. It makes think the viewer that the photographer captured a scramble take off during the Battle of Britain in the Summer of 1940... but that Spitfire visible on the photograph is equipped with a two-bladed propeller... isn't this contradictory... or anachronistic? I always thought that only the early steps in the Spitfire development presented two-bladed propellers, so in the 1930s only. I always thought that all the Spitfire variants that participated in the Battle of Britain were equipped with three-bladed propellers (Rotol RMS7).

19 Squadron WZ code October 1938 to September 1939. So not a genuine scramble unless in the very first month of the war, in which case it isn't BoB.

Cheers.

The new column added in the excel "mark the presence with an X" must be filled when one register? Or the day of the mission to confirm your presence?

In the last times you just needed to insert your name.

Please advise.

Cheers

017.gif.503d73ce4dde1e946b1b73863f294e82.gifCOMMUNICATION TO ALL PILOTS !
We apologize to all players for last night's problems, because it's not our style to
"leave friends behind.." ?

We solved the Mistery.... In the Server It was mounted (for a misleading with the Server manager) the  CLIFF starting by a Tobruk Complete Version...
Therefore also Old Missions required Tobruk Pack.

Moreover we Checked the Mission, that was correct (with all references to Tobruk cancelled).
On the other side the Server Program problem (in the hurry) was unexpected.?

As Murphy's Laws say:
"Anything that can possibly go wrong, does." ?

We wait for you next Week for another Mission over London (well checked this time? )

017.gif.503d73ce4dde1e946b1b73863f294e82.gifCOMMUNICATION TO ALL PILOTS !
We apologize to all players for last night's problems, we are analyzing the Log to understand the plot.

Due to the problems that occurred on the Server Side, despite ourselves, we believe it is right

to suspend the Campaign until a new order

when the Technical problems are absolutely resolved.

Certain of the understanding of all the pilots, we thank them for their participation so far.
We hope to inform you of the resumption of the Missions as soon as possible.

017.gif.503d73ce4dde1e946b1b73863f294e82.gifCOMMUNICATION TO ALL PILOTS !

Gentlemen Thanks for appreciating our job.
We checked the situation. The Mission was perfect.
The problems  was due to the incompatibility from Tobruk Complete Program and Blitz Standalone Program.
We have prepared a routine to switch in real Time from Tobruk to Blitz.

THEREFORE ALSO PILOTS WITH ONLY BLITZ (AND NO TOBRUK)  NOW CAN FLY BATTLE OF BRITAIN 1940 WITHOUT PROBLEMS!!!!

we Restart BOB1940 Missions next Wednesday December 2nd  as usual.!!

Anyway, due to the fact that we changed Servers Connection, pls consider the Next Mission as a Test Mission

Note: the data arrives from Pilots Reports, based only by observations during the Battle, (as in real War) and limited by the presence of witnesses, therefore with all
errors due to the "Fog of War". So Data will be not so precise but all this is so historic, ....so cool   ?

Hi all !

I've just registered.

If the slot in a form is empty there will be an AI plane ?

Fighters have always been human only for the Liftwaffe at least. Never seen any AI fighters in the missions though, just the bombers.

Edit: and there has always been enough humans (about 40 in total).
