Dear Friends,

Today's Dev Blog is one where visuals are more important than words. The Hurricane Mk.II Collector Plane has shown good progress lately and its development has entered the final stage.

Oh mama!

Looks like it will be an aircraft with a lot of character. Definitely not a top performer but decent for early war scenarios. Looking forward to flying it!

The Hurricane looks so menacing with those pins sticking out of the wings.

One would think it's made to peck other planes to pieces.

Have a nice day.

:salute:

Hats off to the artists combining the fabric and aluminum look of the Hurricane.:good:

The Hurricane is looking so sweet, really looking forward to this one!

It's going to be a blast when the hurri is released.  Time to watch the turner's and burners vs energy fighter specialists to come out and play!

Looking forward to try Hurricane with all those weapon mods. Nice ?

Gorgeous model of what is a fugly fugly plane......still looking forward to my 40mm's though

Unless I’m wrong, I don’t think the trop variants were used other than in the MTO, so out of curiosity why spend the effort?

But she looks mighty fantastic, and I’m literally itching to fly her.

Just preordered it 2 days ago along with BoN, looking forward to sitting in that cockpit in VR.

Ok, will be useful somehow with the Kuban and Northern Bodenplatte map and somedays with the Normandy one for some scenarios...

I really can't wait, the moment this went on pre-order I clicked buy. It'll be massively outdated anywhere post early 42 but I don't care she's a beauty and I NEED to fly her.

I will fly this on MP servers, even late war servers, just on the off chance that I can vaporize a 109K-4 with 40mm cannons.

A thousand deaths would be worth it.

Bring it on.:drinks:

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete.

Oh wow, I didn't realize we were getting the trop variant. Exciting stuff!

Used in MTO, Russia, Burma, and likely during the early Sumatra/Java campaign

It also fits the Normandy map if a ‘41 or so version of that map is released.

The images don’t show the IIb with 12 .303s but I presume that’ll be modelled.

It is fugly though.

Can't wait to see the channel front bomber intercept scenarios that come when the Normandy map is available. (In the meantime Kuban will do )

Wonder if we will see British Hurri-bomber mods? two 250 lb bombs or two 500 lb as well as the Soviet bomb mods.
