Deacon352nd Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Since the latest update, when I open the ME, while the bridges and buildings in the cities show up, they cannot be chosen or selected to become a created linked entity. So you can't use a city building or bridge as a target . Do any other mission builders have this problem?
1CGS BlackSix Posted September 23, 2020 1CGS Posted September 23, 2020 Check Objects Filter setup or run this ...\bin\editor\ResetEditorSettings.cmd
WWSitttingDuck Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I noticed the same thing on one of the newer maps. I could be wrong, but I assumed the bridges were part of the actual landscape, and not objects. Do remember they were short spans with very short up/down ramps. These ramps do not show as available objects in ME under Bridges. "
Jaegermeister Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I'm not having any problems with the buildings and bridges. Just checked it so it must be your ME settings.
Deacon352nd Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 I double clicked the bin/editor/ResetEditorSettings.cmd but no difference in the ME. Bridges still cannot be chosen as targets. Any other suggestions?
WWSitttingDuck Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 this might work for you with the bridge in question visible in ME objects filter > groups only then look for Group MCU's around the bridge, select them and set them to working. Am thinking your bridges might be in a group.
Deacon352nd Posted September 28, 2020 Author Posted September 28, 2020 It seems that all the cities and bridges were grouped. It wasn't that way before when I imported from file the cities and bridges. Once I started from a "bare" map and imported just the bridges, I saw the two groups and realized what happened. Thanks for the info as it made me realize other possibilities.
