[FF]_JeffreyLeftovers Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 (edited) So the G meter was added to the corner to help us judge current G load in the absence of actually feeling the load factor stack onto our bodies like we would if we were in the plane. What are people’s thoughts about a slip/skid at the bottom? When flying I can easily feel if my plane isn’t coordinated, even if it’s subtle, and I instinctively correct without having to glance at the ball. I find dogfighting while completely severed from this psychomotor feedback tricky, especially in planes like the i16 or the wwi biplanes. It could be nice to have some feed back on the screen to help compensate for not feeling your weight shifting right and left. In my frustration, i was looking into some kind of shaker feedback, or L/R mixed audio tone or something. But it seems il2’s motion telemetry is roll and pitch, not yaw, making some kind of DIY fix impossible. (Atleast to my understanding, which is limited) Edited September 23, 2020 by JeffreyLeftovers
