Ram399 Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 I seem to have noticed an issue just recently when watching the spinners of nearby aircraft in VR. I'm fairly new to IL-2 VR, so forgive me if this is already a known issue which I was unaware of. The problem is that the spinners of aircraft at high RPMs appear to be moving extremely slowly, far slower than they should be when compared to the same conditions outside of VR. I figured out it was an issue with VR in particular because if I record a track in VR and then watch it in standard IL-2 the problem persists. However, if I record a track in standard IL-2 and then watch it in VR the spinners move as normal. Its particularly noticeable with German aircraft that feature swirled spinners, as the swirl just moves around at an agonizingly slow pace. All in all its a relatively negligible issue, but I would be very interested to hear if anyone knows of a solution. Also I'm running a Valve Index should that information be pertinent.
TheWarsimmer Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 You can try placing this under your [KEY = graphics] heading in the startup.cfg (data folder of il-2 directory): prop_blur_max_rpm_for_vr = -1 Also, be sure that any asw is off. Give it a try. 1
