343KKT_Kintaro Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 The game (BLITZ and Tobruk) is set in the very early 1940s. Thus, the correct model of "Dreieckrechner" in the game should be the DR2, not the DR3. I just found the following source in the internet: http://www.wiki.luftwaffedata.co.uk/wiki/images/Dreieckrechner_2009.pdf Quoting page 3 : "The oldest known DR2 is dated 3606, the last known is dated 4211". And page 8 : "The earliest known DR3 is dated 4303, until 4311 they were built in this same DR2-like form, from 4401 to 4411, they were made in yellow, entirely fluorescent". If the above is wrong please do not hesitate to point out any mistake I made.
Sokol1 Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 (edited) Thing is, the DR3 disk now included in CloD "manuals" for DIY assembly is not a TFS thing, is a VO101_TOM work, done before join TFS, using scanned images of an real DR3 disk, so I guess if he have a DR2 disk at hand... ? BTW - An interactive flash version is available there: https://clodtools.weebly.com/ An here how use can use this Flash version in game, in real time, through Steam browser: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28790&p=312021&viewfull=1#post312021 Can use in IL-2: GB too: Edited September 20, 2020 by Sokol1 1
