In the link above you say people flying RoF aren't flying FC.  So why are you posting here?

Because most FC pilots were once ROF pilots, and the ROF forums are rarely seen or viewed anymore.  Just letting people know it's an option.  Hence the link, rather than a full post.

 

Didn't mean to touch a nerve Baeumer. I still fly both FC and ROF and have every intention of continuing to do so, as I suppose most pilots will.

No nerve touched.   I respect your efforts during RoF.   Just trying to  understand the logic and purpose of posting on a Flying Circus forum a link to promote RoF events scheduled at the same time as known Flying Circus events, when on the RoF forum the thread seems to imply there is little  crossover between both communities:

I appreciate that and certainly respect yours and the rest of Jasta5's efforts with FC. I personally had a great time flying Black September.  I can only reiterate what I've already said, it's merely offering a choice.  I obviously flew ROF this past Sunday but I will most likely fly FC Thursday night   With regard to the time slot, it's unfortunate, but it is what it is.  Many pilots including myself can't make it to the early slot...we tried.

Unfortunately, there are many players that are unsatisfied with the current iteration of FC and one of the ways of making our displeasure apparent is to forgo FC altogether and "regress" ? to ROF. Does this not seem familiar when we lost so many squads when the "fix" in ROF happened (No 42 as an example). I don't want to go the route of Gavagai but what we have currently is unacceptable to me as well as to many other oldtimers. I have been a staunch supporter of 1C (look at my tags on my profile) but I have thrown in the towel as relates to FC currently.

 

This is no reflection on J5 in ANY way.... I flew Black September until I just couldn't take the DM any more. My dissatisfaction rests solely with 1C and will remain as so until (if?) fixes are made.

When I looked at the servers on Sunday night, about 20:00 GMT - there were 18 flying FC and 16 flying RoF.

Fridays are no good for the US (most of us work), too early for US, too late for Europe.  Saturdays are JG1's FIF Tournament.  And, with all due respect, we were here first.  Might be before your time No.20.

LOL no shanks, I left that part of my life behind years ago!  In truth gents, just wanted to see if any interest still existed for flying different planes / maps, I certainly missed it.  However, it just happened to coincide with FIF returning to ROF, so I think most people can get their ROF fix on Saturday, then do some FC Sundays.  I don't see keeping the VM server going much longer but we'll see.
