Pilots! It looks like 1C have added new content on the sly. The 3PG spotted this new type on patrol on the J5 server last night. I mistook it for a Diii with those wings until the gunner opened fire. German trickery I tell you.

Everyone knows skins are client side managed (player computer files) not server side.

 

Looks like someone needs to check their custom paint skins folder contents?

Looks like from the parser this was an intentional....er....field mod.  I guess the pilot clipped his wings before taking off, for some reason?

Something everyone else should know is that in order to see custom ( modded) skins, the person "seeing" this anomoly would have had to have those modded paints installed on their own computer...

Anyone else who hadn't installed the modded skins would see a stock plane.

Still beats our primary field mod of "wingless fuselage" variant. Ours is better in a dive but otherwise, I'll take the one and a half wing Halb.
