Windows 10 suddenly slow on a Dell Laptop - FIXED

Windows 10 (LTSC) suddenly is very slow on a Dell Laptop. It seems to be a windows updates related issue since march 2020. Any tips?

 

PS i have two 'normal' PC running LTSC with no problems.  Tnx

Is it running at reduced power settings to save battery life? You could set the power setting to prefer performance to see if that helps.

It's running powered from the wall plug ... and i use edge block ...

done all the updating etc too ... installed 8.1 now, runs fine sofar.

Well, i fixed it at last ... windows 8.1 to the rescue. Good thing is that most bloat ware from microsoft is easier to remove than with windows 10 PRO ...
