First Person Shooter

I know this will get me flamed but hang on for a couple of sentences:

 

Should there be a First Person Shooter type game in a later release using the easier flight modes? Capture the Flag style like the various FPS's but with a twist?

 

Capture the field with say THREE or more landing on a strip or two loads of paratroopers from a transport mission, hold the field with supply drops, deny the field with bombers, defend with fighters, spawn like a FPS at the fields you hold.  Four or five maps, eight or so fields per map, might be able to work in some objectives. It'd be different than some of the AirQuake DF servers and could introduce a little teamwork at the same time.

 

You could make it really interesting and approachable for new simmers. We need new blood and FPS style might be a viable avenue.

There is already a game where you can find FPS emotions, skill & logic.

 

It`s called "Always Beta War T%under".

There was a server for IL21946 in Hyperlobby that did pretty much that. I always thought it was a good idea, and a game mode that called for teamwork outside the tipical historical or semi historical servers, sadly it was allways totally empty

 

I we get the proper tools maybe you can set up your own server were to put your ideas to good use. I´ll give it a try,

Seeing as I use the career mode for the historical experience, and multiplayer for fun, I think it would be great

If it was always empty it kind of defeats my intent. If I do a server it will be a training server.
