blockheadgreen_ Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 This is something I've been working on as of late. WIP GMAX models of both a 1942 Spitfire F IX and a 1943 LF IX. I've tried to make sure they're as accurate in dimension and form as possible! I'm not sure what sim they'll be destined for. Ideally I'd like to implement them into CFS3, as recent modding developments have allowed for fully clickable cockpits and external scripts for a full systems, flight and damage model. That or IL-2 1946. It would also be nice to see them in FSX/P3D, or maybe even MSFS 2020 if FSX models really can be ported over. Anyways, here is how they're looking so far: F IX (Temperate carburettor intake) LF IX (Aero-Vee filtered intake; some LF IXs used leftover cowling panels from F IXs, so the lower blister may be accurate) Top View (Identical in both, the narrow cannon blisters didn't make their way to the Mk IX until January 1944) 3
NO.20_W_M_Thomson Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Build your own sim using unreal engine 4, there's a few tutorials on youtube or you can purchase a module for flight sims. A guy by the name worstplayer on youtube made some with tutorials and all. 1

I wish I had the time, money and team to make an FPS just like Rainbow Six 3 RVS but with today's technology.

Using blue prints makes thing much easier than learning c++. I'm waiting to build a better computer before I dive into it more. In the mean time I'll keep doing tutorials and learn as much as I can. 1
Rei-sen Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I think Unigine is best for that purpose.
