I have been doing touch and goes in the P-38, and most of the time the landings are not too bad. Occasionally I get the nose-wheel bounce and I cant see any real difference in my approach speed (about 130mph) or rate of descent. Any tips?

That's what the POH says.

The elevator in-game is a bit wimpy and you'll run out of authority before you can really stall the airplane.

POH says nothing about recommended elevator trim but, for in-game purposes, resetting to 0% on approach seems to be helpful.

I do it for most planes when on approach - unless there's some RL documentation for a specific plane that has a different trim setting for landing procedure.

Thanks for that info, I think I was slightly nose down as the plane  landed which caused the nose wheel to bounce up.
