button/switch box

hi been building a button box for il2 .works in 46 and clod but not being recognised in bos 
anyone know what the problem may be as bos is my main game

Does the device appear in the Game Controllers List?

yes and all working and with clod and il2 1946

Odd. Does it work if you remove all other devices?

Rename this file: ... \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input\devices.txt,

start the game and look if BBI-32 appear as option for control assignments.

Any idea of a way to print lettering on a plastic button box  /. graphics or decals of some sort to label switches functions?  as what ive done 

doesnt look too good?

I'm just going to say that I like what you've done there....looks nice and retro.

 

Do you know anyone with a laser cutter/etcher? That's the only option I can think of

I've been making a button box too. For my labelling I printed everything onto photographic paper using best print settings, then, not having a laser printer covered it with clear 'adhesive foil'. Aka 'sticky-back plastic' to anyone who used to watch Blue Peter in its glory days. I then stuck that on to the top fo the box with UHU glue and punched through the holes.

 

 

I quite like the look of it, but still have to wire up the switches!
