norsetto Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 With the upcoming availability of the reverb g2 I'm planning to finally jump the fence and get into vr. Since I have no intention to use that fuming pile of shite that is steam, will it be possible for me to do so with the standalone version? Will I need any additional software (I saw opencompositor being mentioned) or is win10/wmr enough?

But you may need a steam account to install steamvr, not sure. Opencomposite only works for oculus headsets. 1

After that, you do not need to run Steam, just Steam VR. 1
