Files of FC

Where do I find the files of FC? Is FC not a standalone game? Are the files of FC in RoF?

The files of FC are in Great Battles, together with BOS, BOM, etc.

Wherever you installed them ?.

 

Default should be : Prog Files / IL2 / ...

I think after IL2 in the path, it'll be the module you bought first. In my case it's IL2/Bodenplatte/...

 

When you buy your 1st module, you get the entire game downloaded.

Things get 'unlocked' as you buy them.

Hi Zooropa_Fly, thanks for that info. First I bought Tank Crew-Clash at Prokhorovka. Then I bought FC. But where shall I look for the files of Tank crew?

It's all one application, regardless of which parts you've bought. Everything is in the same place.

Hi kroepke10, welcome!

Are you hoping to access the individual files for modding purposes?  If so you will find them in packed “.GTP” files in the Data folder.  There is an unpacking tool made originally by Kegetys and updated by Ankor which will allow you to extract all the assets for your inspection. You should find it in the mods section of this forum.

Hi Feathered_IV, there is no mod section in FC forum. I did look in the forum "Great Battles" under mods, but I did not find an unpacking tool from Kegetys or an update from Ankor.

No worries, I found it.  If you click this link it should get you to the download:

 

 

I find the best way to extract the files is to drag and drop the GTP package onto the unGTP-IL2.exe icon and it will begin unpacking the contents to a folder titled "(Null)"

Hi Feathered_IV, I am more than 70 years old. So my eyes are not anymore so good. I want to change the zoom of the Tank Main gun to a bit higher. OK.that´s cheating, but in my age I don´t care about that. Do you have any idear where I have to look for that in the GTP. files?

Not an answer to your question. But realise that tank guns are going to be part of Tank Crew rather than Flying Circus. There are no player usable tanks in the latter. The mods subforum for Tank Crew is probably the best place to find anyone that might know how to achieve what your want.
