Lusekofte Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 This is uniq , I git the same build from Hong Kong. But this is more durable and half the price I quote his post: Hi guys! I want to share with you something special that I worked on since 2019. I never liked the cheap joysticks, and even those expensive ones are pretty on outside, but plastic inside. I decided to make my own, and I'm so proud that I will start selling it. Everyting is made from laser cut steel, big bolts, and oversized bearings. Very rigid and solid construction. 1. Rudder pedals with oil damper and independent left/right foot brakes. About 10kg of weight. 3 hall sensors are connected to the electronic box with industrial connectors. 360 USD, build time - about 1 month. 2. Mig-29 inspired control stick with heavy duty gimball. It has: -two buttons -one trigger -four hat switches(4-directional) -analog wheel brake lever 19 buttons total. Every axis has it's own oil damper. You can even release the spring load, and use just dampers to fly helicopters. Forward to aft movement range: 40cm Left to right: almost 30cm So it has great precision. Control stick can be detached from gimbal by 2 bolts and one electric plug. Electronic box is hidden below steel plate, so no wires tangling around. 450 USD, build time - about 1 month 3. Chair... or seat with cutout for joystick movemen between legs. Positioned a little lower and leaned to back more than usual desk chair, so very comfy. With adjustable side mount for throttle (X56, Warthog or any throttle you want, just send me dimensions for plate). 160 USD, build time - about 2 weeks. I can paint it whatever colour you want. White, black, gray, pink, cyan, red... Just PM me. Rudder and joystick can be used independently. Connecting to PC via USB. Visible as regular joystick in Windows control panel. All hall sensors have 12-bit resolution - 4096 points. I want to create whole modular system with easily exchengable parts depending on what aircraft you fly. I have plans for a lot more things like different grips, collectives, button boxes etc, 3 1
ATAG_SKUD Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 (edited) That looks seriously heavy duty. I wonder if he could make a replica Ju88 stick with yoke (and clock!) skud Edited September 6, 2020 by ATAG_SKUD

Sokol1 Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Interesting gimbal mechanism, but the guy could at least have painted the ugly details in blue on the X-56 accelerator. ?

I got a similar system without springs. It works very nice. This is a simple sturdy system. In this case I guess the springs that can be taken off is the centering feature. I simply see no use in that. The dampers is enough
Marvel Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Veeery interesting LuseKofte! Is it possible to have more informations about the chair, as per your mentioned in point 3, please? Ciao! M

J99_Sizzlorr Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I love the "handbreak" trigger on it!
=FEW=fernando11 Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 The handbreak is the wheel brake. The trigger js a regular trigger, but because of the angle it looks like it's the same. Not the same joystick, but based on the same thing.
Lusekofte Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 My stick is approaching ready to be sent. It looks great. I have a similar, but due to the need of more hatswitches in DCS and choosable self centering or non centering for choppers and planes. I chose to upgrade. I am very happy, he acknowledged my need for a stick with bent stick and not straight. And redesigned it for me 1
Lusekofte Posted November 1, 2020 Author Posted November 1, 2020 It is soon to be sent to me. Trim wheel on backhand. 12 kg of solid metalwork
SR-F_Winger Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 (edited) how much does this thing cost you? EDIT: Just saw it your OP. I am interested to hear your opinion. Looks really great! Edited November 4, 2020 by Winger
