-332FG-Eggnog Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Three different sized German aircraft are ranged in this infographic: fighter (Fw 190), attacker (Me 110), and bomber (He 111). As an example of how to use this, imagine you are pulling in behind a Fw 190 (indicated red in this chart), and your aircraft is equipped with the N-3A sight. If he fills up 50% of your sight, then per this chart he is just over 250 m distant. How I have been using this is by paying attention to how large an aircraft appears relative to my sight when I tend to open fire. For me, that's usually just under 50%, and I fly Mustang most often (N-9 gunsight). Therefore a good convergence setting for me is anywhere from 230 - 250 m. Then I just have to remember to hold fire a little longer when approaching attackers / bombers! Please let me know if you have any feedback on how this infographic could be improved. Hope this is helpful for your gunnery / convergence! 2 3
