jollyjack Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) In CloD: during game play, how can you make airspeed and height visible on the main screen in cockpit view AND arcade (F4) view? Edited September 4, 2020 by jollyjack

Well playing arcade you can use the arcade cockpit, Ctrl+F1, popularly known as "WW View (Wonder Woman View)" - pompously called "X-ray view" in 5.004 update notes. ? jollyjack Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 ah, what a view .... now what are the correct damage level setting?

You get airspeed and altitude from the instruments in the cockpit, bombardier position, etc. In IL-2 1946 and GBs you’re given the Target height for a bombing mission, so to make it realistic you just subtract the Target height from your actual altitude, and Wham! You have your altitude above ground. If it isn’t in the game already, they should add Target height into the IL-2 CloD series. Cheers.

This is mission maker oversight, he should inform in briefing target height and wind conditions. But in 5.0 "flashcards" airbases height is informed in a table at the end.
