jamesman008 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 for some reason when i try to take off in any plane i cant seem to get enough speed to fly. any help?
JimTM Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 (edited) Set your propeller RPM to maximum. Check the response for your throttle to make sure you're getting the maximum response when your throttle is all the way forward. In Settings > Key Mapping > Plane engine controls, click the small graph icon on the right side of the line where you bind your throttle control. If the white indicator does not go to the maximum, Adjust "Dead zone : High" until it does. Check if your brake control is reversed (i.e., maximum brakes when you are not pressing the brakes). jollyjack Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 (edited) I have this occasionally, mostly with a Hs129, but also a He111 and Ju88; some times it seems speeding up on a runway does not work really, and when you re-start the mission all seems well. Thought it was due my amateurism LoL. Edited September 1, 2020 by jollyjack

On top of this, set your mixture to the appropriate level for takeoff. I had accidentally set my mixture to very lean once or twice and couldn't generate speed on takeoff.

ITAF_Airone1989 Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 @jamesman008 As others said before could be: RPM, mixture or payload.. Try with that and it should works... If you need other any help:
