Hi all,

I noticed that with Desert Wings, the fasces logo changed and was deprived of a part. There is a legal reason? In some countries it is forbidden?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, should be for legal reason.

Yes, there was a post (from Buzzsaw?) a while ago stating they would change or had changed it because of a new law passed in Italy (iirc). Either way, yes, legal reason.

If the problem is Italy (maybe the reason is another), there isn't. The law you are referring to prohibits the use of fascist symbols for apology and propaganda. They can therefore be used for historical or similar reasons, as in the case of a simulator or game, etc.

Here it is an article in Italian that explains a bit: https://www.laleggepertutti.it/286836_apologia-fascismo-quando-scatta#

Thanks for the clarification. I think TF is trying to stay clear of any interpretation issues that could lead to problems.

t is incredible that adult people with a certain culture find it useful to blame objects or drawings, to attribute some kind of responsibility to them only serves to get away from your eyes a problem.A bit like when you sweep the dust under the doormat instead of picking it up. In the 1930s it was not designers who started the current of thought but fanatics and bullies, go get those and leave in peace some good artists who only do their work.

The Italian Parliament has not approved that "simbology" law, promoted by On. Fiano.

Bump.

I bought Tobruk yesterday, and really dont' see the "Fascio Littorio" on the skin is a bit terrible.

Actually in Italy IS ALLOWED to show this symbols, because The Italian President Mattarella disbanded the Parliament on the 28/12/2017, therefore the On. Fiano Law has been not discussed in the second Chamber ("Senato della Repubblica"), so all the proposal versus every fascist symbols (approved by the first Chamber "Camera") has been deleted, erased, dismissed so not definitely approved, not confirmed or, in a few words IT DOESN'T EXIST.

This symbol is legal in Italy, so please restore it.
