BFsSmurfy Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Hi all, I have an old but fully functioning X52 throttle and a Saitek Rudder pedal. The sim is only recognising 1 axis assignment on the throttle . So say I move the large throttle piece the sim recognises it, but if then I move the little slider for say pitch it asks me if I want to cancel the previously assigned large throttle. Basically the sim is seeing all the slider and rotary`s as one item so any attempt to assign them individually to different functions fails. It`s not seeing the rudder pedals at all. I used same set up on Clod and Il2 BoX etc without issue. Any ideas to rectify this? cheers
Sokol1 Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Probable this main throttle lever axis potentiometer are spiking (common in Saitek's) and when you go assign the slider lever, the main throttle axis spikes and is detected first, why are asked for cancel the previous assignment. Try leaving the main throttle in different positions, e.g. around middle, and then try assign the other axes (slider, rotaries) first.
ST_Catchov Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 I use Saitek pedals (10 years old and still clunking on). Make sure you delete anything else assigned to the yaw axis such as a twist stick for example.
Sokol1 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Quote Make sure you delete anything else assigned to the yaw axis such as a twist stick for example. He are assign axes in CLod, there the command is called "Rudder," and game allow only one axis per command, so is not possible assign pedals and twist rudder axis, just one or another. "Yaw " is name of command in Bo'X, and there (like DCS) can assign more than one axis for same command, what can cause conflict.
