=DW=_Gunshell Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Ok I’m having some real trouble setting up my pilot head movement. I want it on my throttle analog stick like I have on other flight games. The mapping works fine but the problem comes with the sensitivity no matter what I’ve changed (axis sensitivity, camera Settings speeds and inertia, pressing f9 to change camera type) I cannot slow down it’s movement and it is completely in usable. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Please note I am new so you will need to explain things as I don’t know where much is ?
cardboard_killer Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 See if this video helps explain all the choices.

What is this "other flight games" in what you use TWCS mini stick for control camera? May this game have mini-stick set in "relative' mode: when you stop move the axis, camera stop in that position. In Bo'X you have no option for relative for axis, so mini-stick is not is not much practical, due the spring in mini-stick you don't have stable camera position in intermediary positions.
=DW=_Gunshell Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Thanks for the replies. I saw that video already and attempted to follow it but as I made an adjustment to camera speed inertia etc it made zero difference to the speed of the analog. I use it in warthunder and flight sim 2020 with no problem. Very effectively in warthunder once the sensitivity is set lower. So Sokol are you saying that the analog is not compatible with il2?

Compatible is, since you can assign mini-stick axes for move camera, but optimizes is the question. When you look, for example 90 degrees for right, need stop mini stick in middle of right course, so your finger is fighting with the spring, what may trembles the camera. Anyway if you don't find the right adjust, assign camera control for that 8 way POV HAT in side TWCS and set mini-stick axes for press keys, as "4 way HAT" and use for others functions. Need use TARGET, Joystick Gremlin, JoytoKey... for this "axis to keys". Edited August 21, 2020 by Sokol1
