ST_Catchov Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Some of you may be aware that the 4.009 update has rendered pre-update flight recordings unplayable. At least for me. So I went to delete them all. But I could only delete them one at a time. Is there a way to delete them all in one hit?
AndyJWest Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Open the folder in Windows (...\data\Tracks). Select the lot (including the subfolders). Delete it.

Mine stopped working, too. I copied them to a new folder and then deleted those in the game file. New ones are recording and playing okay; restored one old one but it remains unplayable. We know FC1 is affected by customer dissatisfaction with the DM, level of content, and other technical aspects of the sim. It also experiences problems inherent to social media; but there is hope for improvement and none of those are deal-breakers. However, online and offline fliers alike enjoy reliving and examining their flights through the FR. Over the course of years, one's Flight Records become an album of treasured memories: from fledgling flights to amazing occurences the customer can enjoy watching in his leisure, share with friends, or for his grandchildren to enjoy long after he's gone. The FR's are all that and more; perhaps the most important aspect of the sim to some. Being deprived of that is going to make many customers very, very unhappy. I recommend the Devs restore the sim's ability to play all previous Flight Records without undue delay. Edited August 21, 2020 by Todt_Von_Oben
RNAS10_Oliver Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 I did not ever think before now that the sim had the "ability to play all previous Flight Records" as flight recordings have been rendered unplayable after some other updates we have had in the past I am almost certain 1
J37_Daedallus Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 S! all Oliver is correct. I feel your pain, must of us have found out the hard way ? If you want to keep your treasured memories, all you have to do is capture them in windows 10 player, or something similar. I'm pretty sure this topic has been raised before on numerous occasions. Eventually you run out of space if you keep tracks ingame, it happened to me few years ago. I can still play ROF tracks (because the game hasn't been updated in such a long time). cheers
