Mouse disappearing in VR while looking down

Hey guys, just got my psvr hooked up to il-2. Everything seems to be working great so far except one minor issue thats driving me nuts.

For some reason whenever I take my psvr headset off and put it down my mouse glitches and dissapears. So when i put my headset back on my mouse is gone. Alt tabing and coming back to the game brings my mouse back but i can no longer click on anything and all controls are no longer working. The only thing i can do to fix it is to restart the game. Im also using a thrustmaster hotas one which stops working with this glitch as well. 
 

Has anyone had this issue or found a remedy?

Don't have that issue but then again I don't have that headset.

One thing that comes to mind to try out is if you are running the game via Steam then right click on the game's library entry, go to properties and set "steam input per-game" to "forced off":
